Look 11
Details: House of CB bustier, I.AM.GIA pants, Nike sneakers, vintage chains.
Continuing on the theme of neutral this week, we have a look that works for all the casual people reading and all the people who love dressing up. It’s the perfect blend of both. Bustier and baggy pants!
This outfit is inspired by the age old rule of dressing for women: if one piece is tight, the other should be baggy. This is NOT always the rule, but it does look good more often than not. Especially if you are just getting comfortable exploring your style.
This top is from House of CB, and wow it fits like a glove. That being said my chest is average in size, and I did have to order a medium in this top. Keep in mind, I order a small for everything else from House of CB. So I would strongly suggest sizing up in these, they are super stiff and not adjustable. It’s textured with the animal print being velvet, it just exudes class. This also shapes everyone in such a beautifully feminine way. Would recommend. This goes with so many outfits. Literally anything, and a great top to use to dress up any outfit as well. Bustiers are a must in my books.
The pants, I had been eyeing for a while because I saw something similar in a terrible movie that I watched. They are a size small and are perfect baggy considering I’m around 5’7”. They are baggy and cuff my ankles perfectly. The chain comes with the pants and what a perfect blast from the past that is. These are one of my most complimented piece by women and men. Like the bustier, these pants go with everything. Which is why I preach one pair of baggy pants in a neutral tone to everyone I know.
Shoes again, white sneakers. They are just a classic okay?
Then the necklaces are vintage, yes they are real silver too. You’d be shocked to know what your mum or grandma has been hiding from you that you might be able to borrow. Or what a good thrift store or consignment store will have in their jewelry section, which is so often overlooked. So next time, make sure you take a peek.
