Details: outfit from a random shop in the middle of Athens, bracelet from a random art gallery meets home goods store in Montreal, shoes by Steve Madden.

This week I had planned to create a couple videos. Safe to say it was a complete mess. So inspired by that mess we got a slightly different style of post this week. Stay tuned though.

The moral of this week’s story in terms of fashion: don’t be afraid of neutral shades. Beiges, browns, and everything in between. They are effortlessly chic, and no they don’t make you look naked. It’s just a matter of styling your look, and definitely not choosing a shade that matches your skin color exactly. While neutral shades pair well together and you can really explore monochromatic looks in a less bold way, they are also amazing as staple pieces that can we swapped out with almost anything else in your warbrode. Don’t be afraid to accessorize either! Never too much asscessories with neutrals. There I said it!

First up, a light beige set. This outfit screams beach party. Inspired by, who would wear heels that high to an actual beach? This set was bought at a small roadside shop in Athens. It’s a light linen fabric and perfect some European summers.

I found the bracelet for this at a shop that was a mix between a gallery and a home decoration store in old Montreal. This bracelet is nearly indestructible and goes wth everything. It’s a bangle and a chain link all in one. The perfect combination of tradition and new style. It will class up a outfit because of the color but the chain link is unique and modern.

I chose platforms because I thought they even hated the cut of the pants. The look becomes over the top when you include these shoes even though the color of the whole outfit is extremely muted. Who says you can’t stand out in a crowd in a neutral? Not me that’s for sure. This is something I never would have done before, but don’t be afraid to try new things: new color, new fabric, new cut and style. The best part about how you dress is it evolves always, day to day it will change, week to week, year by year, don’t ever say something isn’t your style. It totally could be.
